PROFEL joins the Glass Loop initiative
On 30 June 2020, PROFEL proudly joined the Glass Loop initiative, contributing with other stakeholders to a higher collection rate for glass packaging across the whole of the EU. Glass containers are a key material for our products, and help us with what we are best at: preserving nature’s fruit and vegetables, giving them a long shelf life while preserving their nutrient qualities. Against the background of EU initiatives such as the Green Deal and the Farm to Fork Strategy, improving recycling rates will play a key role in contributing towards carbon neutrality goals, and we welcome this very timely initiative.
